This item has been inspected for flaws and you can expect as described in the area labeled “Condition”. Overview Re-live the late 80’s with this completely restored Game Boy Original! It plays, looks and feels the way it did almost 30 years ago. We make each one of our Game Boy’s with the highest quality parts and the outmost care to guarantee our customers have a positive experience. Please keep in mind that this listing does not included batteries, games, cables, manuals or inserts. You are buying just the Game Boy Console. Condition Inside the Console: This console has been repaired and parts prone to failure have been replaced. Besides any components replaced, the internal system of this hand-held console is 100% original. Although used, the system has been cleaned, fixed and restored to how it originally would have functioned. Sound is loud/clean and we have fixed the Dot Matrix screen (regardless if it was broken or not) to prevent vertical lines, a very common problem, from appearing on the screen over time. By doing so, we hope to extend the life of the console for many years to come. Outside the Console: · The Shell In our effort to truly make this console “brand new”, we have replaced the old exterior plastic shell with a brand-new aftermarket shell. This way your console will arrive completely void of scratches, yellowing (discolorations), dirt, grime and any kind of residue. Like the original, we will also install a “Nintendo service sticker” on the back of the battery cover. · Plastic Screen lens We have also installed a plastic screen lens. This lens sits on top of the screen protecting it against damage. · Buttons and D-pad Like the brand-new plastic shell exterior, we also add brand new after market buttons and d-pad plastics. Although the newer plastics will be visually void of wear or damage, they do not completely match the pigment/hue of the original maroon buttons and black d-pad. As result may be a slightly different color. Regardless, they look great! We also work on special custom orders that include mods, different color buttons/plastics/lenses, themes, LED’s, LCD screens, Biverted LCD’s and much more!
